A birth worker’s blog

I’m Christine, a doula and breastfeeding specialist based in West Palm Beach, FL. I’m a forever student — constantly taking personal inventory, embracing my mistakes as learning opportunities, and refining my skills and knowledge — plus a non-traditional pre-med, aiming towards med school and an OB/GYN residency when my children are older. I’ll share here my old blog posts from the past 7+ years as a birth worker, as well as things I learned on my recent sabbatical and my personal reviews of pregnancy/birth/parenting books and other media.

About Me

Hi, I’m Christine. Previously an art major, assistant librarian, and long distance hiker, I found my calling as a birth worker through the births of my children in 2010, 2012, and 2016. I began attending births as a doula in 2015 under the incorporation Tremendoulas, LLC, and have goals to eventually take the MCAT, earn a medical degree, and serve as an OB/GYN. The bigger goal, however, is always to shape this world into a kinder and healthier place, and maybe have a little adventure along the way.

Let’s hang out

Once upon a time here there were buttons to social media pages, but I much prefer meeting in real life. Please contact me at tremendoulas@gmail.com if you’d like to meet.
